Description Summary: A long-furred gold and white she-cat with oceanic blue eyes.
Full Description:
She's not without the opportunity to fatten, for her caretaker - though Blue fondly refers to her as her servant - always has the food bowl filled. It's easy, almost too easy, to over-eat, especially during the cruel months of leafbare, but in favour of her outdoors lifestyle, she keeps her body slender, thin, and muscled in all the right places. She's aware of her own body, and takes great care with her appearance. It's not a mystery to anyone (of this she's certain) that she's relatively easy on the eyes, and although she opts to use this to her advantage, she won't allow herself to be mistaken for weak, such being a common misconception given how she lives.
Her fur is a flawless white, highlighted by flecks of gold that dance along the gentle lines of her forehead, around her ears, and into her feathery tail. Her eyes, a shade of blue that would put the ocean to shame, are as much the reason behind her namesake as her weapon of choice. Anyone can use their claws, and while she's certainly not opposed, there's something far more... appealing about having the same effect with so much as the flutter of her lids.
Personality:
She will stop a heart with her smile, and then crush it with her teeth.
Blue's capable of a brutality that greatly exceeds her angelic graces. She's not a monster by any means of the word, but in opposition, she can and sometimes will act upon her decisions rather monstrously. Leadership has hardened her heart, calloused her tongue, and made her numb to emotional pain. She takes her job seriously, takes the lives under her even more seriously, and isn't above doing cruel things, inhumane things, in order to protect them. She may be a kittypet as far as the other gangs are concerned, but she's far from soft, if not only because being the boss doesn't allot for too much softness without their being a price. The world outside Debra's walls is harsh and, at times, even violent, and she knows to expect the worst and, more pressingly, to be just as harsh and violent.
The Renegades learned to make a meal of the human mind while the other gangs chased after the promise of a mouse carcass, and the warmth, the catering, is worth dealing with the loathing of other cats. She takes pride in Debra, and doesn't view their reliance on humans as a weakness so much as a strategy. Everyone has their means of survival, and theirs so happens to be stress-free and relaxing. Besides, she has the respect of the Renegades, and she has the respect of herself. It doesn't matter to her how the other gangs view their lifestyle. If the Renegades' strength is questioned, she will proudly and she will lethally do something about it.
She's something of a manipulative mastermind. Both the snake and the charmer, she knows how to flaunt her looks and how, when necessary, to use her words. She will toy with emotions shamelessly, and oftentimes derives some form of amusement from it, but on the flip side, she doesn't like to be played, and proves to have a rather malicious temper. Devilishly charismatic, and hopelessly flirtatious, she has come to heavily rely on her wits. It's something along the lines of a secret that she actually has a heart, and that it hasn't entirely ran itself cold, but only the lucky few can claim stake to this knowledge - and let it be known that it's nothing short of a death sentence to betray her trust. Blue's worst quality, but undeniably her strongest, is her vindictiveness, and it's an understatement to say that she'll hate fast.
History:
It sounds funny that she was named by her friend, but that's the reality of the Renegades. Tiger Stripe was lucky to have a mother and a father who cared for him, and perhaps it was pity at first, and perhaps he knew that she didn't want his pity, but he called her Blue for her eyes, and it stuck from then on.
Her father was something of a legend. His name, Talon Striker, was befitting his prowess in battle, and according to spoken word he had died honourably. Blue wishes she would've gotten to meet him, but she puts on a brave front for anyone with their sneaking suspicions about her heart. Her mother, after all, has made it painfully clear that she didn't give birth to someone who was weak, and Blue is forced to meet those expectations head-on everyday.
Anyone could look at her and say it doesn't make sense that she would try and impress a mother who obviously doesn't care, and she would agree. Everything she does has always been for the Renegades, and her mother, Amber Fox, just so happens to be one of them. She doesn't hold her mother responsible for neglecting her, for the behaviour isn't entirely uncommon amongst the Renegades. Besides, it allowed for her to become the independent, headstrong feline that she is today, and for that she sees no reason to be anything but grateful.
She remembers the day she met her human. She took her time with her test, wanting to make sure that her human was trustworthy, and that they would be able to co-depend on one another when necessary. She presented a few of her catches to the human over the course of a handful of days, and soon enough she was invited in. Debra was what Blue learned to call a "planet enthusiast", and she believes that her given name, Neptune, is in association with Debra's hobby. She loved her time spent at the Renegades camp, and for the first little while, she was unsure of adjusting to living indoors, but Debra grew on her quickly. The human was kind, and catered to her every need. Blue - Neptune when spending the night - was never left wanting, and she had to admit that it was nice sitting by the fire when the snow was falling.
It wasn't like she had to choose one or the other, either, because it was having a human that made her a Renegade in the first place, and she always had the rest of her gang outside of her home's walls. She was recognized amongst her gang for being helpful, and for being able to provide outside of their humans' setting, and this earned her their favour. The entire gang respected Blue and, to much of her mother's approval, she was the youngest cat to ever become an advisor at an astonishing fourteen moons.
The first warrior of the time was removed from power by Blue's sixteenth moon, and it was with a mix of shock and awe that she stepped into the position. The Renegades seemed to accept her wholeheartedly, and trusted in her guidance despite her youth - all but one. Storm Flash rallied against her, and managed to convince most of the population that Blue was too young and therefore unsuitable. She called for a Vote of Defiance, and despite Blue's efforts to restore faith in her, Storm won in the end and had her removed from power.
Blue was absolutely livid, but she refused to let Storm get under her skin. She remained an advisor well into her twenties, and it was after she rescued Leaf, a beautiful kitten who escaped her mother's watch and wandered too far on her own, from the hands of a criminalistic human that the Renegades began to disagree with Storm's opinion. The boss passed due to old age, and when the vote was held, Storm was confident that she would become the next boss. It came as a surprise to Storm, but not to anyone else, that Blue was chosen instead. It wasn't long after she was given the position that she removed Storm from the status of first warrior. The decision was made in part due to their feud, but mainly because she didn't trust her, and soon Blue coaxed the vote in her direction and convinced everyone that she was an unfit first warrior. She believes that Storm will challenge her again one day, but considers herself ready to meet the opposition.

"Leaf!" Her ears pricked, and swivelled, lifting her head from on top of her paws to gaze at the frantic she-cat in wonderment. "She's missing!"
She was the first one to stand up, numb to the stab in her chest at seeing actual concern in the eyes of a mother; a kitten was missing, and she wasn't about to sit idly in camp and do nothing. The mother searched the area feverishly, and though Blue wished she could offer words of comfort, she knew nothing could quell her worry better than the safe return of her kitten. She wouldn't waste time thinking otherwise.
The she-cat crashed through the bushes with ungraceful strides, rushed, but not panicked, knowing how she would look to anyone who saw her - she would look like a shadow of the meticulous cat she was, kept together, flawlessly executed, but it was precisely that which would warn off any disturbances. It meant she was on a mission, and she couldn't be held responsible for what happened to those who thought to interfere.
It was a miracle that she caught the kitten's scent, but she knew she could thank her perceptiveness. She kept on eye on everyone as best she could, and that was how she knew that Leaf, in spite of her age, had an adventurous spirit. She had bet on the fact that the kitten would've traveled away from camp carelessly, and while Blue wasn't one to normally act on a hasty whim, it was a good thing that she had made an exception. The scent lead her straight to the Bridgeway District, and what she saw there was enough to stop a rampant fox in its tracks.
She stared wide-eyed, breathless, as the tiny kitten she recognized as Leaf clung precariously close to the edge of a crumbling bridge. Her back paws, so delicate, couldn't so much as shuffle backward, lest she risk tumbling into the water below where she would undoubtedly meet an untimely end. Leaf wasn't that stupid, but it was difficult for even her - a former first warrior - to come up with a better option when it was either the water or the human inching towards her from the safe side with a smile on his face that she didn't like. Blue assessed the situation quickly: It was easy enough to decipher that the human's intentions were far from pure. He coaxed Leaf towards him with gentle hand gestures, and soothing words, but it was clear from his body language that he was growing impatient. He was looking at her like she was a snack. He was beneath the consideration of the most incompetent Renegade on their test, of this she was certain.
Leaf was getting anxious, quite literally on the edge; it would've been safer to turn back, but that was the farthest thing on Blue's mind. She released a deafening battle cry, and while normally not one to announce her attack, his attention was better off being on her than on Leaf. The kitten, in a miraculous show of bravery, took advantage of Blue's distraction: When the human turned around, his face alight with confusion, she raced past him and took cover in the nearby bushes. She would be safe there, and Blue would've relaxed if it wasn't her who was now in danger.
She clawed up his pant leg and, when he reached down to swat her off, screeching indecipherable curses over the pounding in her ears, she hissed and sunk her teeth into the flesh of his sweaty hand. The human hollered in pain, using his other arm to grab her by the neck. Blue was astonished by his strength, but she didn't retract her teeth without a fight: When he ripped her off, she ensured that a piece of his hand went with her.
Blood was in her mouth, but it wasn't from the human. She lifted her head from the gravelly path, her cheek stinging, her side burning; she rolled in the nick of time, knowing that the smack of his boot on the ground could've just as easily been the sound of her head cracking. She was woozy, but somehow she still managed to run. Taking cover beneath the bridge, she waited out the length of the human's rageful cries. He wouldn't be able to follow her - he was much too big - and though he stayed for a while, making sure she knew how dead she was if he ever saw her again, he eventually gave up the hunt and left. Blue wasted no time getting out of her hiding spot and checking the bushes, and it was there that she found the shaking body of Leaf, curled up in a ball, eyes wide with fear, asking where her mother was.
So Blue took the kitten to her, unbeknownst that her rescue would regain her the support of the Renegades, and finalize her status as the boss.
