The Wilds

The overgrown and untamed wilderness beyond the city limits is extremely dangerous, with all manner of creatures stalking through the undergrowth and lurking in the trees. Animals that managed to escape captivity in the zoo and survive in the wild have only grown in number. Luckily, human activity keeps them mostly at bay since humans often hunt them, and so they keep to the wilds and stay out of the city unless they're truly desperate. The cats of the Gangs generally avoid the wilds as too dangerous, with far too many predators willing to make them into freshkill.
