Advertising Contest #1

Welcome to UW's first ever advertising contest! We're brand new, so we need to get the word out about us and attract some members ASAP. If you contribute to the cause you can win fabulous prizes, but first, make sure you read and follow the rules.

1. When posting as a guest, use your name from UW as your guest name.

2. Make sure you use the appropriate ad. The proboards ad works on proboards, boards, and freeforum websites, the jcink ad works on jcink. If you run across a site that we don't have an ad for yet, link me to it and I'll set one up (I'll let you post it, however, don't worry lol).

3. Follow any rules the sites you advertise on have posted.

4. Check to make sure our ad has not already been posted. Repeatedly posting the same ad may get all of our ads deleted as spam, which obviously hurts us rather than helps us.

5. Post here linking directly to the ad you've posted on every site you've advertised on (if the site you're linking sorts ads and moves them to other boards, make a note of it beside your link).

6. UPDATE your post as you go, DO NOT MAKE NEW POSTS linking more ads. Number each link so it's easier for me to see how many ads everyone has posted and I don't have to sit there and count them all at the end of the contest.

Now for the fun part, the prizes!

Participation

• Everyone earns 2 GS for every ad they post.
  
• Post at least 15 ads and earn a bonus 25 GS.

Third Place

• A bonus 50 GS.
  
• 1 free item from the shop priced 100 GS or below.
• The Bronze Advertising Trophy added to your awards.

Second Place

• A bonus 100 GS.
  
• 1 free item from the shop priced 200 GS or below.
• The Silver Advertising Trophy added to your awards.

First Place

• A bonus 200 GS.
  
• 1 free item from the shop priced 300 GS or below.
• The Gold Advertising Trophy added to your awards.

Grand Prize

• ANYONE that posts at least 100 ads will get 1 free item from the shop with no price limit.
